About the event
Annual fundraiser event for United Way of Cattaraugus County. Age classes from Teen to over 70 for both men and women. Bench Press weight is dependent on age and gender, see TICKETS. One mile timed run from Eade Fitness 24/7 to Four Mile Brewery. (Along Union Street, through JCC campus, underneath East State Bridge on walk/run/bike trail, onto Adams Street to Brewery. Every bench press repetition counts for 3.5 seconds. Total amount deducted from timed run for final score. (Ex. 20 repetitions = 70 seconds; for a 8 minute run final score would be (8x60)-70= 410 seconds or 6 minutes 50 seconds). Awards for 1st and 2nd place. ALSO - a "Couple" category for 1 Male Lifter and 1 Female Runner. Glassware by "Ben Shot", a Veteran run, made in the USA, manufacturer. www.benshot.com (A company that gives back to numerous charities).
